If you're having trouble with a restored machine you bought from our website, Stagecoach Road Vintage Sewing Machines, (www.stagecoachroadsewing.com),
if it's something that we can fix, we'll fix it for no charge. You will, of course, pay shipping and insurance both ways, and you'll pay for any
parts and supplies needed. If you've dropped the machine and bent something internal, or used it so much that it's worn out, it may be terminal. There's nothing we can do with dead.
Most parts and assemblies are replaceable or fixable and most repairs don't require parts.
By far, the majority of repairs are adjustments, thread jams, and the like.
Though there are many (more all the time) suppliers of good used parts,
we can't guaranty that every part for every machine will be available. If we can't get the parts, again, there's
nothing we can do about it.
We'll make reasonable repairs, if it's something we can fix and if parts are available.
(Cases and cabinets are not included in this offer.)
Important Note: We're able to fix most systems on most machines, however, there is no technician living who knows all of the systems on
all makes and models. While there are technical manuals available for many machines, they don't cover everything, and there's much
esoteric information, and many "tricks and secrets" that have died with the last technician for that brand.
We'll do our best with the information that's available, and with logic and the knowlege that we have. We'll also make sure that
everything is in good working order before we sell a machine.
Our goal is to make you, our customer, happy with your sewing machine, and to keep these fine machines working at their peak condition.
