We at Stagecoach Road Vintage Sewing Machine Restoration have been restoring mid-century sewing machines for a combined 35 years and we know what we're doing. We know which machines are worth restoring and how to do it with the same care that went into the original construction.

The Singer 15-91 is a powerful, steel-driven machine that will sew easily through 8-layers of heavy denim or canvas. Of course it will also sew medium and lightweight materials just as well.

This is the Singer with a can-mounted internal motor like the famous Singer 201. It's the machine that's been copied countless times by manufacturers all over the world. In fact when you hear about the class 15 bobbins that most mid-century machines use, this is the class 15 machine they are referring to.

This one has just been lovingly restored. It's running and sewing beautifully. As an added touch, we've re-coated it with additional layers of shellac, the original clear coat on these fine old black Singers. We didn't try to fill the pin scratches or chips. All the signs of 75 years or so of use have been preserved beneath the shiny new clear coat (along with the almost perfect gold decals).
