This fine Pfaff sewing machine has just come off our restoration bench so she's clean, clean, clean, all the way through. We've had her apart and inspected her inside and out as we scrubbed and polished her parts during restoration.
She's in excellent condition with little sign of use. She's fast, she's smooth, and she's strong, and she's ready to come home to you and be your sewing companion for the rest of your life.
Made in Germany in the middle of the last Century, she's a fine precision machine. She sews straight-stitch and zigzag, and features three needle position settings.
She'll sew through multiple layers of heavy material and even garment leather, and also sew lightweight and delicate fabrics. She has dropping feed dogs so you'll be able to darn and embroider with her, as well as mending and freehand sewing, and with practice, you can make fancy stitch patterns by varying the stitch width as you sew.
After we restored all of her pieces and assemblies and tested to be sure each assembly is working as expected, we adjusted and re-tested, and then we did a final test, to be sure she's running and sewing as she should.
We made a video of her final test, in which we also show you how to wind the bobbin, thread the machine, insert the bobbin and bring up the bottom thread for sewing, and we show you how to use her various controls, including dropping the feed and freehand sewing.
She'll come with her original paper user manual and a metal box of sewing attachments and spare bobbins, as seen in the photos, above.
Make her yours today. You won't find a better sewing machine.
