This cabinet is built to support a heavy, mid-century Kenmore sewing machine.
During the mid 1950s Kenmore sold some pretty solid sewing machines. It took a solid sewing machine cabinet to hold up to the weight and vibration of a massive, all-steel sewing machine.
This cabinet is sized and the hinge pins spaced to fit a mid-century Kenmore. It may not be the right configuration for another brand. If you're seriously interested in this cabinet for something other than a Kenmore, contact me and I'll bring it out of the warehouse and measure all the pertinent dimensions.
If you look closely, you will see that there is an oil stain on the front. It's, otherwise, a very attractive and well-built cabinet.
