Here's another restored sewing machine from our Alternate Universe section, where we keep the newer machines that don't really fit into our vintage restoration site but are way too cool to not restore.
It comes with a nice array of accessories and an original user manual, and it uses standard needles and standard class 15 bobbins, available anywhere sewing supplies are sold.
This may be the last Kenmore sewing machine made in Japan, where some of the very best sewing machines were made. Most of Kenmore's mid century machines were made in Japan and they rivaled the European machines for style and quality.
Even though we don't usually work on electronic machines, this one was practically brand-new, just barely used at all, and such a quality machine that we couldn't help ourselves.
The electronics are working perfectly but, since it's a newer machine and electronic, we can't put the Lifetime Guaranty on it that we put on our older vintage machines, which were built to last a lifetime. If you ever have a problem with it though, we'll be glad to look at it and if it's something that we can fix, we'll still fix it for free. You, of course, pay for any parts.
