Elna Special

The Elna Special is a light-weight, aluminum-bodied sewing machine with an all-metal drive. It's a zigzag machine with adjustable needle position and fully adjustable stitch-length in both forward and reverse.

As you may know, products made in Switzerland are renowned for fine quality and precision. This fine Swiss-made sewing machine is in excepionally good condition, with very few signs of use. It was, apparantly used a couple of times and then stored for decades.

It's been carefully inspected and then gone through, cleaned, lubricated, adjusted, and extensively tested to make sure it's working as it should.

It comes with an accessory kit and 3 bobbins.

It's been tested with 8 layers of heavy denim, and with two layers of split leather, as well as lightweight fabric. It sewed all of them with little effort.
